About the Role
We are hiring a certified Medical Billing & Coder to review and process patient records for billing and coding. You will assign appropriate codes to diagnoses and procedures, ensuring accurate reimbursement from insurance companies.
Job Roles & Responsibilities
- Review clinical documentation and assign accurate ICD-10, CPT, and HCPCS codes
- Submit clean claims to insurance carriers and government payers
- Follow up on denied or rejected claims and appeal as necessary
- Maintain compliance with HIPAA regulations and coding standards
- Collaborate with physicians and clinical staff to clarify documentation
- Generate regular billing reports and track accounts receivable
What We're Looking For
- CPC, CCS, or equivalent medical coding certification required
- 2+ years of hands-on medical billing and coding experience
- Proficiency in EHR/EMR systems and medical billing software
- Strong knowledge of ICD-10, CPT, and HCPCS coding systems
- Excellent understanding of insurance billing processes and payer guidelines
- Ability to maintain accuracy under high-volume workloads
Recruitment Process
Our hiring process is fully remote. Initial interviews are conducted via microsoft Teams (Chat & Audio). Selected candidates will then take part in a one week online training program delivered through video sessions.
